Our Founder
The Sorelli Ensemble is managed and was founded by our violinist, Julia, who brings over 20 years of experience as a performer on stages such as The Royal Albert Hall, BBC Radio 3 and The Proms. Having gained a scholarship to study at The Royal Academy of Music, she pursued her love of performance and gained an Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree with Distinction. She made her debut solo performance with orchestra at the age of 10 and loves nothing more than sharing her music with others. Here at The Sorelli Ensemble, she has created a collective of ensembles and musicians who share in her passion for music. Together they offer a wide range of styles and repertoire, from the lyrical sound of a solo string player to a fuller blend of instruments with a piano trio. The Sorelli Ensemble offers something to suit a variety of tastes.

We pride ourselves on our wide repertoire. All of our musicians are classically trained but deliver truly captivating performances, ranging from Bach to Queen, Metallica and even Nirvana! The options are endless and we offer unique arrangements exclusive to The Sorelli Ensemble. Absolutely! We offer a diverse repertoire spanning classical, contemporary, and bespoke pieces which our clients are able to choose from. We’re happy to discuss specific song choices and create a playlist that reflects your personal style.
Yes! Any of our ensembles can play outside. We do ask that we are provided with shelter from both sunshine and rain as our instruments are very valuable and can be damaged if exposed to the elements. Our piano ensembles require power which we would ask is made available for us but all of our setups are fully portable so wherever you and your guests are located, we can follow!
To ensure availability, we recommend booking as early as possible, especially for popular dates. However, we’re happy to accommodate last-minute enquiries if we have availability.
The Sorelli Ensemble is a collective of musicians, offering various established groups who perform together regularly. We have 5 featured Violin & Cello duos based across various counties. Depending on your location, you will be allocated one of our duos at the point of enquiry and directed to their videos and audioclips on our website, ensuring that you are able to hear them before your day. If for any reason any of our players are not able to perform on the day of your booking, we will ensure that they are replaced by another of our musicians of the same talent and style, ensuring the highest standard of performance at any event.
We provide the hire of our Baby Grand piano shell for all of our piano ensemble bookings. If your venue has a piano that you would like us to use, a deduction of £75 will be made on your booking. Our piano shell is beautifully handcrafted in the UK and provides a stunning backdrop for photographs and will stun your guests!
